Create a folder
- Go to the NetSuite File Cabinet to create a new folder.
- This folder will be used to store all imported statement files.
- Please take note of the internal ID of the folder, this ID will be used later in the configuration.
Step-by-step guide
- Go to Documents > Files > File Cabinet > New
- Name the folder 'Bank Statements' or any other name you prefer
- Review permissions to the folder (which is recommended, else everybody with access to the file cabinet can view the contents of the files)
- Save the folder.
- After saving, take note of the internal ID of the folder. This can be done in two ways:
- After saving, look at the URL of the page. The number after "&folder=" is the internal ID of the folder. So if the URL is: "/app/common/media/mediaitemfolders.nl?folder=724&whence=" then the id of the folder is 724.
- If you have enabled Show Internal IDs in the Home > Set Preferences section, you can go to the list of folders and view the internal ID in the list.
