Create a folder

  • Go to the NetSuite File Cabinet to create a new folder.
  • This folder will be used to store all imported statement files.
  • Please take note of the internal ID of the folder, this ID will be used later in the configuration.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Go to Documents > Files > File Cabinet > New
  2. Name the folder 'Bank Statements' or any other name you prefer
  3. Review permissions to the folder (which is recommended, else everybody with access to the file cabinet can view the contents of the files)
  4. Save the folder.
  5. After saving, take note of the internal ID of the folder. This can be done in two ways:
    1. After saving, look at the URL of the page. The number after "&folder=" is the internal ID of the folder. So if the URL is: "/app/common/media/mediaitemfolders.nl?folder=724&whence=" then the id of the folder is 724.
    2. If you have enabled Show Internal IDs in the Home > Set Preferences section, you can go to the list of folders and view the internal ID in the list.
