Use the DPD Integration for Item Fulfillments

Using the DPD integration was designed to be simple and quick. It works on Item Fulfillments, that are created from either a Sales Order or a Transfer Order.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Make sure a shipping method is selected that starts with DPD or DPD UK
  2. Enter the Number of Packages. This determines the number of labels that are returned
  3. Save the item fulfillment

After saving, NetSuite sends the data to DPD and one or more labels and tracking numbers are returned.

Ater saving successfully:

  1. A button 'Print DPD Label' will appear. Click this button will open the PDF label(s) and open a print dialog. Set your (default) printer correctly and click Print.
  2. Under the Track & Trace subtab a Track & Trace record is stored for each package, with the T&T code
  3. All Track & Trace codes are stored in a field 'Track & Trace Number(s)', separated by a comma. Use this field to print on a PDF (f.i. packing slip) or email template

Should DPD return an error, the error message is shown in a yellow Warning bar after saving the item fulfillment. If you are unsure how to resolve the error, you may contact support@fastfour.com for help, however often the error message relates to something at DPD. Therefore contacting DPD Support is often a quicker way to get an error resolved.

Once a label is generated, any update to the Item Fulfillment will not trigger new or changed labels. Contact your administrator to uncheck the checkbox 'DPD Has Label' to regenerate labels.
